Friday has ended at gamescom in Germany, and we’re all healthily exhausted after another day of mad giveaways and stage activities! Aion brought home the trophy for “Best Online Game” of the show and a whole bunch of new media saw dawn through the day’s news posts.

If you are one of the many followers of our Live Theater acts, you wouldn’t want to miss the newly uploaded videos (acts I and II) of these very performances. An exclusive and insight-providing video was later on uploaded of the Thursday interview, seeing Lani Blazier asking player and audience questions to Aion’s lead designer himself – Yongchan Jee.

Today could not have taken off with a much better start, as winners of the gamescom awards were announced. Aion stayed true to its core qualities and outshone all competition when climbing to the very top of the winners’ stand. Not only was Aion crowned king of MMO gaming, but of all online games present. Aion is also currently in the top 10 of a “Best Game of Show” poll held by the quite significant portal giga.de.

The winner of the “Best Online Game” prize is voted for by six very knowledgeable game experts, including high level representatives from some of the largest magazines in Germany, the USK (responsible for age rating), one of the country’s largest retailers and one of the country’s major gaming websites.

The release of Aion is on the very near horizon and we’re seeing an increased number of anticipating followers and fans by the day! Those who venture to gamescom – one of the world’s largest gaming exhibitions – are bound to get a delicious taste of the game and all it has to offer. Aion’s booth is located in Hall 9, A011, where our soundtrack’s majestic music spreads throughout the hall’s corridors and rains down an ethereal vibe over the many visitors.
